Why an annual service matters

Boilers work hard all year, and small problems tend to build up quietly. A yearly service catches worn parts, poor combustion and slow leaks before they turn into a mid-winter breakdown. It also keeps your boiler burning fuel efficiently, which matters for both your energy bills and your safety.

Many manufacturer warranties are only valid if the boiler is serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer, so an annual service protects your cover as well as your heating.

What the service includes

• Boiler service to manufacturer instructions
• Check and adjust gas pressure and flow
• Flue combustion test
• Inspection of boiler and controls
• Visual check for corrosion and leaks
• Clean burner and heat exchanger, where required
• Check all safety devices and electrical connections

How it works

1. Book a time that suits you. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm. No payment is taken when you book.
2. We service your boiler. A straightforward service usually takes under an hour, and we work tidily and clean up after ourselves.
3. You get honest feedback. We talk you through what we have checked and flag anything worth keeping an eye on, with no pressure.

If we do spot something that needs fixing, we will explain it in plain English and agree a fixed price with you before doing any extra work.
